Sales soared and production capacity was fully utilized
According to data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, in the first half of this year, the sales volume of new energy refrigerated trucks nationwide reached 4,803 units, a year-on-year increase of 292.72%. Against this backdrop, the sales volume of new energy refrigerated trucks has remained high for three consecutive months. In Chinese refrigerated truck companies, an average of one new energy refrigerated truck rolls off the production line every 9 minutes, and the workshop output has increased by 316% compared with the same period last year. Orders on the production line have been scheduled until November.
National policies support strong market demand
In order to promote the development of the cold chain logistics industry, the State Council issued a policy in March this year on large-scale equipment renewal and consumer goods replacement, which clearly supports the development of new energy operating trucks. The Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Finance subsequently jointly issued a notice on the implementation of scrapping and renewal of old operating trucks, providing financial subsidies for scrapping and renewal. Each new energy refrigerated truck can receive a subsidy of 35,000 yuan, which greatly reduces the cost of purchasing vehicles for enterprises.
