In the past year, SingAuto has made remarkable achievements in technological innovation and intellectual property protection. As of October 2024, the Company has filed a total of 92 patent applications covering various key areas such as design, electronic components, and triboelectric systems, with more than half of the patents directly related to the streamlined design of the SingAuto S1. Some of SingAuto’s patent applications have been extended to the international market, further consolidating the company’s leading position in the global electric-energy cold-chain vehicle industry.
Patent Highlights
Many of our patents feature extensively in the SingAuto S1:
- The refrigerator patents ensure the freshness and safety of the goods during the transportation process through the S1’s intelligent temperature control system. These account for 21% of our patents.
- 18% of these are Electronic and Electrical patents, such as those involving advanced vehicle control and management systems, these help to ensure the stable operation of the vehicle in various complex environments.
- The S1’s streamlined design effectively reduces wind resistance and enhances energy efficiency, largely thanks to our design patents, which comprises 18% of the total number of patents submitted.
- Suspension, steering, and frame patents account for 18% of our patents, these ensure the stability and handling of the vehicle under different road conditions.
- Our triboelectricity patents, which comprises 14% of our patents, help to realise the energy efficiency of the S1 through the battery, motor, and electric control.
- 7% of our patents pertain to our interior, which provides a pleasant working environment for drivers.
- Last but not the least, Intelligent Smart Driving patents account for 4%, which underscores the breakthroughs made by SingAuto in the domain of automatic driving.
