Former Faraday Future Global CEO Chen Xuefeng joins Syna Technology to be responsible for the company’s global business

Recently, 36Kr Auto learned from multiple sources that former Faraday Future (FF) global CEO Chen Xuefeng has joined Syna Technology. Chen Xuefeng currently serves as co-founder and global CEO of Syna Technology.

36Kr Auto confirmed the news with Chen Xuefeng and Xinya Technology respectively.

Chen Xuefeng has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry:
Graduated from Wuhan University of Technology in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in automotive design and manufacturing;
From 2002 to 2012, worked at Changan Ford as an electrical product development engineer and then as a project director;
From 2013 to 2015, worked at Chery Jaguar Land Rover as executive vice president of production and manufacturing;
From 2015 to 2021, he served as executive vice president of Chery Jaguar Land Rover. At that time, he was known in the industry as “the youngest Chinese head of a Chinese automotive joint venture.”
In March 2021, he became CEO of FF China and CEO of FF Global.

Over the past 20 years, Chen Xuefeng has experienced a promotion every three years in Sino-foreign joint ventures. Now, with new energy companies rapidly expanding into the global market, Chen Xuefeng has assumed the role of co-founder and global CEO of New Asia Technology, and is responsible for the company’s global business.

It is reported that Xinya Technology, headquartered in Singapore, is committed to becoming the world’s leading provider of new energy intelligent logistics full industry chain solutions. It not only provides customers with efficient and green new energy intelligent driving commercial vehicles, but also redefines safety, efficiency, interconnection and environmental protection with innovative solutions and environmentally friendly logistics ecology.

In September 2023, Xinya Technology held a global new energy intelligent refrigerated truck brand and product launch conference and launched three concept products: new energy cold chain vehicle S1, new energy intelligent commercial vehicle V1 and new energy automatic charging vehicle E1.

In February this year, Xinya Technology completed a US$45 million Series A financing round. This round of financing came from an investment fund company in the United Arab Emirates. The financing funds will be mainly used for production line construction, trial production vehicle development, product improvement and software development.

36Kr Auto learned that Xinya Technology will hold a brand launch conference in the Middle East on June 24, which will also be Chen Xuefeng’s first appearance after taking office.

Xinya Technology plans to establish a global R&D center within three years, have 100 strategic partners, and receive orders for 30,000 vehicles. Within five years, it will expand into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, establish a R&D, production, and distribution network, and achieve annual sales of 50,000 vehicles.

Xinya Technology will actively expand global strategic partners and customers by rapidly establishing R&D, production and distribution networks. With the addition of Chen Xuefeng, Xinya Technology is expected to accelerate the realization of the company’s global strategic layout.
